Samsung has temporarily halted production of the Galaxy Note 7. Samsung latest setback is it struggle to manage the 2.5 million smartphones recall.
Yesterday, AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile US said that they would stop issuing new Galaxy Note 7 to replace the ones turned in by U.S. customers.
AT&T said, that Galaxy Note 7 customers can return their phones for a different model, Samsung investigates the opportunity.
Verizon said, that customer who didn’t feel safe with a replacement Note 7 smartphone could exchange it for another smartphone.
T-Mobile said, it is suspending all sales of the Note 7 and halting exchanges for replacement Note 7s. Customers can still bring in their Note 7 phones for a refund or a different device.Read More
