Apple admitted the security attack to most of their employees and the vulnerability in Mac OS X. This malware was designed to attack Mac computers and it spread through a website for software developers.
This is the widest known cyber-attacks targeting Apple computers that are used by corporations. Hackers have traditionally forced on attacking Windows OS, however over the past couple of years attacks have turned towards Apple as the company gains market share.
Apple released the following statement: “Java for OS X 2013-001 delivers improved security, reliability, and compatibility for Java SE 6. Java for OS X 2013-001 supersedes all previous versions of Java for OS X.”
Steve Ballmer revealed at Microsoft’s annual employee meeting that Microsoft will give it employees a new Surface RT Tablet to use at home and work, A new WindowsPC (Desktop, Laptop, Ultrabook, or Tablet) and a Windows Phone 8 device to use at home or work. Employees are calling this the “Oprah Treatment”.
The more than 90,000 full-time employees direct employees (known as “Blue Badges”) will receive the tablet and phone by late December.

Spotify is suppose to launch today. Spotify is a European music service that will feature all four major labels, over 13 million free tracks.
Spotify will be the only free on demand US service for mobile and desktop.
Currently there are 1 million paying subscribers in the U.K., Finland, France, Netherlands, Norway, Spain and Sweden, the service integrates with Facebook.
