LinkedIn Outlook Social Connector

LinkedIn will offer One-Click integration.  Outlook Social Connector will be available on the next Office release. Users will no longer be required to install an additional download to sync with LinkedIn according to David Breger, LinkedIn Project Manager.

Breger states, “This means you just have to sign-in once with your LinkedIn credentials and immediately you’ll start seeing rich profile information, like photos and LinkedIn network activity for any connection that emails you. You’ll also see LinkedIn profile data surface when you view a People Card throughout the new Office experience.”

According to Breger, Outlook Social Connector will help users to be more efficient and productive. Users will be able to keep track and share with  their LinkedIn connections without leaving Office.

In the coming weeks, LinkedIn will discuss its work with Microsoft on a new LinkedIn for Outlook application for the new Office app store, which packs some new functionality and features for today’s busy professionals.
