Apple Employees and Mac Software Hacked

Apple admitted the security attack to most of their employees and the vulnerability in Mac OS X.  This malware was designed to attack Mac computers and it spread through a website for software developers.

This is the widest known cyber-attacks targeting Apple computers that are used by corporations. Hackers have traditionally forced on attacking Windows OS, however over the past couple of years attacks have turned towards Apple as the company gains market share.

Apple released the following statement: “Java for OS X 2013-001 delivers improved security, reliability, and compatibility for Java SE 6. Java for OS X 2013-001 supersedes all previous versions of Java for OS X.”
