Windows XP Support Will End In 365 Days
Microsoft will end support for Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2003 on April 7, 2014.
Microsoft released Windows XP in 2001. XP will become a security risk without updates, MS will release patches to fix problems. However, analyst firm Gardner is reporting that custom support will be available to those willing to pay between $200,000 and $500,000 a year. Gartners also warns that customer support “can as much as double [in price] from year to year as the product moves further away from the end of support.”
