Apple Event – iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, and iOS7

Today at WWDC 2013 the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c were introduced.  The flagship 5s has the biometric Fingerprint Sensor/Touch ID.  The Fingerprint Senor allows users to unlock their device with the touch of a finger.

The iPhone 5s comes in 3 colors:  Gold, Siver, and a “New Space Gray”.  the 5s contains the new A7 chip, the first 64-bit chip on a smartphone.  The 5s will run on iOS7 will run on 32 an 64 bit apps.  The 5s will run up to 40 times fast than the original iPhone with the A7 chip. The device will retail for $199 for 64GB, $299 for 64GB, and $399 for 64GB with a 2 yr. contract.  Pre-orders start Friday, Sep 13 and the iPhone 5s will be in stores on September 20.

Apple introduces The iPhone 5c “The Budget Device”.  The 5C is colorful and a lower price.  The 5c comes in 5 colors:  Blue, Green, Pink, Yellow, and White.  The $99 device has a polycarbonate plastic wrap-around back.

A few of the iPhone 5c features are:  a 4-inch retina display, an A6 chip inside with “blazing-fast performance”, and it includes an 8MP iSight camera, with the five-element lens and IR filtereen on the 5.  For more Click Here.

The device will retail for $99 for 16GB, and $199 for 32GB with a 2 yr. contract.  Pre-orders start Friday, Sep 13 and the iPhone 5s will be in stores on September 20.

Apple will release iOS7 on September 18.  Mobile device users will be able to download on Wednesday, September 19.
