Sony introduces the Xperia Tablet Z at MWC (Mobile World Congress). Sony Xperia Tablet Z is 10″ and is the thinnest tablet to date at 6.9mm, it is also waterproof and can be immersed in 3 feet of water for up to 30 minutes. The 16 GB will retail for $499 and the 32 GB for$599 A few of the Xperia features are:
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, will be upgrade to 4.2
Snapdragon S4 Pro Quad-Core 1.5 GHz
2 GM Ram
Micro SD – up to 64GB of memory
The Xperia Tablet Z will be available in May, the 16GB or 32 GB versions will go for $499 and $599, respectively.

Moody’s cut Sony credit rating after four straight annual losses. Sony was cut to the lowest investment grade by Moody’s due to week TV and Camera sales. Sony was downgraded six continuously levels from its As3 rating in 2003.
Moody’s released the following statement; “Overall earnings will stay weak due largely to prolonged operating losses in TVs and mobile phones, as well as significant declines in earnings from digital imaging products and games.
