On Sunday, Nov. 3 T-Mobile will offer Tethering (Wi-Fi Mobile Hotspot). The Tethering Plan will cost $14.99 a month.
Tethering will give you access to anywhere T-Mobile has coverage and connection to any Wi-Fi device (gaming, iPad and music player).
T-Mobile is offering up to$350 to iPhone users who trade their iPhone for a HTC HD2; the HTC HD2 is powered by MS Win Mobile 6.5.
The trade-in will be determined by the generation and memory. The HTC HD2 is priced at $200 with a two-year contract; the cost is $450 without a contract. The trade-in offer runs through May 19.
T-Mobile announced that it will be launching a free BlackBerry trackball replacement program for customers who still use the BB Pearl or BB Curve smart phones. So if your having trouble with the trackball on your BlackBerry Pearl 8100/8200 and BlackBerry Curve 8320, go to your local T-Mobile store for a replacement. This is a great idea T-Mobile has come up with, hopefully other carriers will follow suit.
Update – T-Mobile confirms has confirmed that all services are restored.
T-Mobile data and voice service is down or intermittent for 1.7 million users.
T-Mobile is issuing the following message about the outage:
T-Mobile unveils an unlimited service plan without committing to a long-term service contract. T-Mobile will offer a $79.99 unlimited talk, text and data plan. The unlimited plan for those on a contract is $99.99 per month. The customers with a contract will pay more monthly but the phones will be significantly cheaper.
