Verizon To Launch 4G LTE Broadband Service

Verizon to launch HomeFusion Broadband.  HomeFusion is a consumer internet service for consumers who reside in rural areas.

Subscribers service will be on Verizon’s 4G LTE wireless network.  Service will require a one-time $199.99 ewquipment fee and the plans will start at $59.99 per month for 10 GB of data.

HomeFusion Broadband will begin in 3 markets later this month; Birmingham, AL, Dallas, Tx, and Nashville, TN, with additional markets to followed.

Verizon Convenience Fee

Beginning Jan. 15th, Verizon will begin charging customers a $2 Convenience Fee on one time online credit and debit card and phone payments.

Avoid the $2 fee by selecting the following payments: Auto pay, electronic check, money order, online bank payment or in Verizon store pay.

Verizon spokesman, David Samberg released this statement, “These fees are going to cover the costs of those last-minute payments.”  “We don’t want anyone to have to pay this.”
